Programming and Relearning

Program the service Body Control Module (SBM) EEPROM chip using the proper RPO configurations. The EEPROM stores information regarding the following information:
^ Vehicle options
^ Point of sale

When replacing the SBM, program the SBM in order to identify the following information:
^ Real Time Damping (RTD)
^ Memory Options
^ Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM)
^ HVAC
^ Dual Zone HVAC
^ Country of Sale (US, Canada, Europe, Gulf, etc). If the SBM is not properly programmed, the vehicle will exhibit a no-crank condition. If the SBM is not properly configured, the SBM may set default values for some systems. This condition may cause malfunctions in other systems.
