Removal and Replacement


REMOVAL

1. Remove the battery and battery tray.

NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.





2. Loosen the PCM electrical connector bolt and separate the PCM electrical connectors.





3. Remove the RH front door scuff plate.





4. Remove the RH cowl side trim panel.





5. Release the PCM bracket clip.





6. Remove the PCM.

INSTALLATION





To install, reverse the removal procedure.
